This case study highlights a recent project where we transformed a client’s outdated bathroom into a modern, cohesive space, focusing on a crucial floor renovation.

Challenge

The existing bathroom floor was showing signs of wear and had a slight flex, raising concerns about the longevity and safety of the flooring. The customer desired a refreshed look that would also be durable against time and use.

Solution

To address the flexing issue and prevent future problems such as tile cracking, we started by reinforcing the floor with a cement board. This step ensured that the floor would remain rigid and stable, providing a solid foundation for the new tiles. We carefully removed existing plumbing fixtures, including the sink, to prepare for a seamless installation process—leveraging our in-house plumbing expertise to manage all aspects without the need for external contractors.

In addition to the floor, we also tiled the bath panel with the same tiles to enhance the visual flow and elegance of the room. This design choice was suggested by the customer and expertly implemented to give the bathroom an elevated and customized appearance.

Results

The renovation resulted in a visually appealing and structurally sound bathroom floor that complements the overall design of the space. The use of consistent tiling across the floor and bath panel created a unified look that made the bathroom appear larger and more luxurious.
