Project Overview
Maximizing Storage in a Compact Space
The client wanted ample storage despite the limited space. We installed light grey fitted units with an in-built cistern and a countertop sink featuring a wall-mounted tap. This setup not only enhanced the bathroom’s modern aesthetic but also provided generous countertop and under-sink storage. Above the sink area, we installed four 300mm cupboard units, with the two central units mirrored, eliminating the need for an additional mirror and maximizing storage.
We also added a 300mm three-drawer unit in the corner, topped with additional counter space and a 300mm cupboard above, ensuring every inch was utilized.
Elegant and Durable Design
The bathroom features a large slate stone-effect shower tray from Vado, complemented by black fixtures, including a towel rail, tap, and shower screen. The shower itself is wall-mounted with offset controls, allowing the user to adjust water temperature without getting wet.
A feature wall with dark slate-effect tiles contrasts beautifully against the 600x300mm ceramic wall tiles, adding depth and a touch of luxury. The floor is laid with 600x600mm grey marble-effect porcelain tiles for durability and elegance. Underneath, a rigid cement board was used to ensure stability and prevent any future cracks.
Modern Tech and Lighting
To enhance the ambiance, we installed LED strip lighting under the wall cabinets, providing both functional illumination and a stylish touch. The ceiling features a PVC wipeable finish and houses a Lithe Audio Bluetooth speaker, along with four spotlights. This allows for a modern, voice-activated audio experience, compatible with Alexa and Google Home.
We also added an extractor fan that monitors the humidity of the room and turns its self on and off as and when its needed.Â
