Project Overview
At AP Tile and Bathrooms, we recently completed a bathroom transformation that’s a perfect example of how to blend style with functionality. The client wanted a sleek, modern look, and we delivered a stunning monochrome space that feels fresh, stylish, and practical for everyday use.
Design Vision
We went with a classic grey, white, and black colour palette to create a clean and timeless look. Large grey porcelain tiles with subtle white streaks set the tone for the floor, giving the space a sophisticated base. To tie the whole room together, we installed matching grey skirting boards, ensuring every detail aligned with the grey tones of the cabinetry and other elements.
What We Did
Floor & Shower: We laid those beautiful grey tiles on the floor and paired them with easy-to-clean white PVC panels in the shower, which also had a touch of grey to keep the design consistent.
Fitted Cabinets: The fitted units are sleek, with hidden storage for a tidy look, topped with a durable acrylic countertop that mimics the appearance of marble.
Finishing Touches: We added a black towel warmer, black taps, and even a black-framed mirror with LED lighting for a bit of flair. A grey skirting board wrapped around the room to perfectly match the cabinetry.
Functionality: New concealed pipework ensures a clean look, while the upgraded extractor fan keeps the room well-ventilated. We also tanked all the walls before installing the panels for long-term durability.
The Result
The end result is a bathroom that’s not only beautiful but also practical for everyday life. The sleek black fixtures, combined with the soft greys and fresh white, give the space a modern yet cozy feel. Plus, the wipeable paint and easy-to-clean surfaces make maintenance a breeze. The client was thrilled with how everything came together, and we’re excited to share this example of what AP Tile and Bathrooms can do!
